I finally got decent dac, amp and cables. Got qobuz.
Find out what on good system - I hope mine is good- music sound very different to what I used to listen.
Can you help me and share you favorite music what you really enjoy or what giving goose bumps. Or outstanding records.
I think what all of us cut you self short because it very difficult to keep up with all the music. Just too many different choices so too many of them got unnecessary missed or forgotten.
Can you share yours or guide me to web cites to start. All people different and I need to try something new.
It could be ALL kinds of music.

If connection allows, http://radcap.ru/index-d.html where you get AAC, 320 kbps.
It's easier to find favorite styles on the RadioSure player, where it shows that radcap has 364 styles to chose from.
Finding any style on the player is easy. Unknown (in the West) styles like coladeira, kizomba, gumbé, zouk etc. available too.
(Listening to popular Romanian entertainers (sarbe, hora), MP3 at 128 kbps).

The last time I got goose bumps from music was many years ago, during a live performance of a Bach cantate. Unfortunately I don't remember which one. It was performed by the Haarlem Bach Ensemble, which is an amateur orchestra that always plays with professional soloists.

There are many channels these days, that is true. But Bandcamp is certainly a very important one for me. But also some radio stations, local and more international like BBC6, and blogs and dj's that i know that dig in the same styles like myself help for sure. And as former dj and actual radio broadcaster i got a lot of music for free as promo, in more than only the styles i used to dj.

But at the end, it's impossible to follow all. As releasing music became very simple, there are hundreds of releases (if not thousands) each day. I just try to get enough to feed my huge hunger for new music. I'm sure i miss a lot, but you got only 24h in a day, and other stuff to do also... So when i got enough, i'm happy...

Thank you for the replays. I ask for help because when you work and have a life little time time left for other activities. So any advice is appreciated. It's really helpful.

I really didn’t phrase myself right. Because I change my system I find out what I was cutting myself short. Music sound very different now. It’s impossible to run throw all of good records.

I need a few -more is better but probably not possible- record to evaluate my system and make decision if it’s needs adjustment or it’s good for now. Something reference quality.

If you go to your history of songs played, and click on a previous track that essentially creates a new playlist of similar songs. It works well with certain genres. For finding similar songs, I think spotify is the best.

Radiooooo.com is pretty good if you are trying to find music by country and decade. South American in the 60’s and 70s has some bangers.

My analog journal on youtube is pretty good for listening to interesting music.

I think this playlist on qobuz is pretty good. http://open.qobuz.com/playlist/15411008

If you are looking for jazz,
Miles Davis Kind of blue is a must.
I also like grant green green street.

I honestly don’t know your taste, but I have a bit of everything on my playlist. See if you like anything.

As far Jazz is in question there are a lot of radio stations online as well as streams.
One of best is Seatle jazz
https://live.amperwave.net/direct/ppm-jazz24aac256-ibc1
and
svissjazzroom1
https://stream.srg-ssr.ch/m/rsj/aacp_96
even the Swiss stream is not highest kbps they seems to have a nice sound stage, good tech and best equipment.
I could mention also: superstereo7 chille, wbaa, wjmx, Qfm wbgo but these are classic.
Best thing is to use some kind of player I have musicbee for example and start from there. You can browse via shoutcast, soma fm,tune in, radiobrowser by genre.
Enjoy.

Thanks a lot, I will look at your suggestions.
I do have MusicBee which is (to me) by far the best player around, mated with the Bee78 skin.
Never used it to browse though.
Radio Paradise is also top notch interface with the beautiful picture slides.
These are all great ways to discover new music.
We are so very spoiled aren't we?

Hugo

Yes, spoiled somehow.
Well I grew up with cassettes, much later copying cd albums s on them and sure there was some teenage brainstorming about some kind of platform, giant jukebox etc or similar that you could pick up any music that you could imagine at the moment. Web wasn t even in cradle back then. So now... Cd s are behind me, FLACs on TB hard drives also. Still have them, but rarely use them.
I have Tidal at the moment and I find it superb. "AI" in software could be way better than it is, but eventually I think it will happen.
Because of that I also listen to top radio stations of certain genre or live broadcast like solaradio uk coz I believe they have good DJs with great knowledge of what they do and spin on the air.
With my vintage Marantz receiver and modern klipschs it doesn t get any better than that.

Hello, my humble contribution.
I live in Italy but was born in south america, so will share some slow music and " rare" latin slow music that maybe (I hope) will please somebody.
As I stream through Qobuz, this music is available there and will put the links as well as the names.
