MUSES premium audio semiconductors from NJR

    That is pretty funny, especially taking into account you living in the same country as JRC...

    I am actually planning to build a VSPS around the MUSES8820, the chip seems to be well behaved enough for that purpose, what do you think?

    I know eh? It's embarrassing.

    Anyhow, the MUSES8820 "feels" very much like a NE5532. That's the sense I get looking at the datasheets anyway. I'm sure it is improved, but nothing jumps out at me as being radically different. That's probably a good thing - it means you can drop the 8820 into any audio circuit, like the VSPS, with no worries.
