So now that we know it's possible and it's only 15€ a pop for the end user, probably less for a manufacturer, how much sense does it make to leave it out or bundle it with an expensive discrete buffer?
It is also possible to attach a bicycle seat and a stuffed zebra - this is DIYaudio after all - but that doesn't mean it makes sense to do so.
Gifs and bicycles? Really, Julf?
Really. Makes about as much sense as the other silliness here.
No, I think you succeeded in your attempt to increase it.
Glad to have been of assistance.

You got your simple yes answer, now you're overstepping your own boundaries with additional questions.
LOL @ boundaries. 🙂
So what's more important in your opinion, a regulator or a discrete buffer?

Too many questions.
Yes I was, however Hypex are not selling NC1200 modules at present. That's what they told me!Hi Boggit,
Any upcoming plan for NC1200 version making use of the same platforms (ie same casing, same type of buffer option & etc ...) as NC500 ?
EH.
Too many people with a lot of posts and no answers. 🙂Too many questions.

Lots of answers, but for some people, the answers don't seem to be the right ones...
It might be easier if you answered your own questions in the way you want.
Cheers TomasA good choice I am the proud owner of serial no. 1001, you will not regret your choice. I will be receiving my uprated buffers soon.
Here they are built and testing will ship Monday for you. Colin
Sorry. They are on the bench being built now! Nearly finished! Yours is a Stereo unit!

What XLR socket is this?
I am currently considering the Neutrick NC3FD-S-1-B to avoid soldering, but it looks like the one you are using is also using some kind of screw terminals?

An externally hosted image should be here but it was not working when we last tested it.

Beautiful buffer board Colin! If only everyone knew that you may have the best sounding Ncore amp on the market........
Tidier than the one I posted here a few months back for sure:
Cheers Tomas

Cheers Mike, I know measurement or not I can not believe how good it sounds every time I test a new one.
The difference, more bight, punch and tonal texture it just make me smile! First batch went out this week so hopefully will bet some feedback. Next week Tomas get his and will be sending out the upgrades to people who already have there amp Coll included so we should get some meaningful impressions from them.
HiFi Pig will be doing a review in the coming weeks, his reference system is a Merrill Audio Thor.

OK thanks.
Was hoping that your version of the NC1200 to be more reasonably price that the rest currently in the market.
A quick question on the NC500 that - any particular reason why you design the amp gain to be at 15dB and input impedance to be only 47K ohms ?
It would of been!
Amp gain is 26dB Input Buffer is !5dB
These are the figures that when you take the 3 modules and connect them that tit gives we had know control over these figures all Hypex's design.
Our Input board has a little more gain.
