NFB is like a magical cleaner. It reduce distortions, improve impedance and expand bandwidth. Like any cleaner, no matter how magical it is, you don't want to put too much of that stuff on your fancy furniture. It might clean up all that tube magic too.

You can try a variable resistor
There are variable resistors with screw adjustments that can cover the resistance range you are looking at. For most PP amps , depending on the quality of the output transformer, you will seldom see the FB resistor of more than 33K ohm. If you are considering using a pot , don't use analog type, get a linear pot.
I will try with 47K, 100K, 200K feedback resistor. will low FB effect open wide rang freq or what?
