No much going on here either
Apart from making up part list and ceking out Mouser
There is about £60 difference between using IRC RN 55 or Vishay CMF-55 so I am planning on the IRC.

The IRC's are verry good, go for them 🙂
The TX finally found their way up here.... Swiss Post is very strict and I was using my job´s mail instead of home mail... the package came from France and was rejected by the mail post office... I believe they use the mail information to keep track of people here.
Now building a wall suport for the TT because my "new" house is very old and has floating floor boards.... Hope to be able to listen to the Paradise during next week.
PS: Thank you both for the IRC RN 55 info🙂

What Type of 1 uF capacitors are in the picture of post 6055?
I am going to take shorth break from puter and then tidy up
I can send you copy of Mouser chart later (hope to get it finished this eve)
I can also send you curve tracer matched sets of BC337/40 and BC327/40 with HFE of around 540 for fair price.
Just PM with your Email...

Wima MKS2, 1uF 50V DC, check out 42D2850 at buerklin.com
Tanks hesener
I was pretty sure of that, as I could not find MKP on that footprint.
I have already quite a few MKS 2.2 uf from buerklin any detrimental reason not to use those?

these should do fine. please remember that the caps in the shunt regs and the servo should have 1uf as per schematic, else you are changing the time constants. the other caps are optional, 2.2uf should be fine. the footprint is 5mm but you can drill further holes to make them fit (watch that ground plane for accidental short circuit, though). DC voltage rating should be 30V min.
you may have notednthat the holes for the power diodes in the shunt reg are a little tight, thats already fixed....
let us know how you progress, any issue with the betabuild please drop me a line so I can fix the PCB......
have fun!
Tanks hesener I will get the 1 uf I have made same progress with part bom text in red need if you could looking at
I have not included the semiconductors parts
Resistors are IRC type + reccomended parts from your notes
PS
Cut and paste part numbers to mouser will take you directley to those

Those dudas give prety clean 35V at 140 mA so as I got one set already may as well make second set for Phono stage.
Sorry if taking long was hoping for pre-amp to be finished 2 weeks ago
Raw series Shunt reg
Separate Trafo box with emc filter and ...pre-regulator
