My listening notes don’t concur with the best of show assessment, but these speakers retail somewhere around £10k, whereas my personal favourites were all priced in the six figures. That being said, I don’t think a MTM speaker can ever be the one to rule them all if we impose a £10k-ish price constraint.
Working on the waveguide-issue and a real efficiency boost (goal is 95 dB @ Zmin: 5.5 Ω ~ η₀: 3.23 %).So there's potential for more.

You meant the 13 cm wave guide face plate of the SS 99000 is not deep enough ?
Me I wondered why the woofers are not nearer from each others and the tweeter more offseted to do so.
Do you also remember guys the Proacs Response 3.5 with the offseted MTM woofers with the Seas poly units ?

It's not much making judgment on a speaker within 15min of listening and in show condition... but diplomacy aside, they sounded as they look, not good.
I was also very started by their miserable fit and finnish- looked like a bad executed diy
These speakers seemed to be one-offs to showcase the AMT mid. My initial post has some more info. I like AMT tweeters but I want body, not airiness, from a mid that can cover from 150hz.
