ON these Rectifier's , Amp has FEN16CT AND FEP16CT.
on web , i see different FEN16**/FEP16** ?


any preference ?

Top right of the datasheet explains the suffix. Look just right of the giant picture of the part and you'll see the pin configurations and suffix.

CT = Center Tap.

The replacements you order need to have both Kathodes on pin 2 for the FEP and both Anodes on pin 2 for the FEN.

MUR1620CTG = FEP16CT

The old marking gave the polarity in the prefix FEP = positive, FEN - negative). The newer markings have the prefix of all, the same (FEP), regardless of polarity. The pin configuration is determined by the suffix (xT, xTA, xTD, positive, negative and doubler, respectively).

Ok ... This thing is up and running like a champ, all of the sides were changed out ( PS FETs , Diodes/Rectifier's and output transistors) THANKS PERRY for all the great help 👍

I can hear some engine noise, what can be causing this ? Other than that amp is working great

Barely audible or about to rip the cones from the speakers?

Are the gains set correctly?

Barely noticeable, can only hear it when no source/music playing and car on

Are the gains set so that you can use about 3/4 of the volume control range?

Gain are all the way , will try setting them to 3/4 of the way ,see if any difference

I was referring to 3/4 of the range of the volume control on the head unit.
