Passlabs D1 (PCM63) vs. Threshold DAC-2 (Ultra Analog D20400a) - who have heard both?

Pop has already published the schematic for the Zen I/V, and the store has matched JFETs. We would just need a good PCB done up.

Ha all good! I have the datasheets open, but I don't know how to identify I Adj from the schematic - the resistor values are pretty easy to find though of course

freely ignore Iadj for calculation

take care that you have two in parallel for R1

resistor numbers taken freely, no connection with nomenclature in actual schematic

PCM63 based dacs are very special , i had PASS D1 , WADIA 9 , Stax dac Talent and all these ones are fantastic natural sounding Dacs. and now i still have a french Audiomat TAngo 2.5 redbook only and i will keep it even if could have modern dacs for free.. ( i have tried tons of them )

I've been looking at the Sen and Cen circuits too, but having a more traditional power supply ala D1 or Zen is certainly attractive.
