Just finished the Yuichi, with new Radian (Berylium) two-inch exits.
The bass is my own design using Altec 515 woofer. Porting to the side of the cabinet can be 'tuned.'
I'll build a passive 2nd order xover for the Yuichi, while the bass will run off MiniDSP.
Lot's of CNC'ing here but still quite a few hours of hand wood working.
I quite like the look of the lighter Birch...and I've not yet added any stain/wax.
Initial sound is very good...plenty of scale and detail.

Beautiful work! One of thesedays I'll splurge on a nice CNC machine...
Thanks for your kind comments, guys.
See attached sim, plus mic sweep.
I'm also building small wteeter horns...and I collected one yesterday. I have new Selenium D220 drivers for the tweeters.
My main system is Azura 340hz, with JBL 2445.
Listening to many horns from Altec 511, 811, 8005, Smith, Stereolabs, plus the Yuichi....I'm reasonably confident in saying the Azura is the smoothest/nicest sounding horn I've had. I'm now tempted to get the big 160hz Azura and build a Trio replicer/beater.
If I continue down the wood turning path, I'll replicate the 340Hz Azura with a ply horn, like Tune Audio.
Because a lot of my projects use CAD/CNC, I can supply advanced flat-pack kits.
