R112 (1K3) and P103 (500R) ... can I change to 681R for R112 and 1K for P103 instead? Don't have 1.3K in drawer and no plan to restock from Digikey or Mouser before 2023 ...

As a benefit, maybe I can leave P103 at midpoint for total resistance of 1K28 on startup ... laziness paying back with even more laziness 😼


Forgot to ask - any value changes to use Semisouth SJDP instead of Tokin elevator shaker?

1K2 is perfect

yes, you can use that combo

didn't yet got to test with SJDP (Dennis sent me a pair) but I'm expecting halving level shifter resistor value should be enough

Are you changing the SissySIT 42 shown above to the SJDP 42?

It's a new board and instead of any Tokin SIT will go the SJDP instead. I am planning to rebuild my first SissySIT R1 with these in place of the less well behaved setup.

if you test those SJDP with 1A8@24Vdc and write what's Ugs, I can tell ya level shifting resistor with few ohms margin

SJEP can be used as upper OS part in SissySIT R.3 and (42), with few specific tricks:

DN2530 or DN2540 (TO220 case, lazy to check proper suffix) for M101 level shifting mosfet

level shifting resistor R133 in range of 120 to 150R

results ....... dunno, didn't tried and will I ......... maybe if I feel for it when going to try SJDP I got from Dennis
