That's a great idea... unfortunately there is a closet in one of the corners there... but I will do ambient channels for sure!

They might work well for that goal when placed in the corner of a back wall/ceiling 😀.

It's for ambience, right? Placement has a lot more freedom depending on what you feed it. You could even create some diffusive reflectors, say a quarter shape, and put the lines on the outside firing outwards into the room.
Something like this, the blue part being a diffuser, the gray part the (corner) array. Flip image for the other/right side and let the arrays reflect off of the room itself.
I tried firing upwards but that didn't cut it for me, firing outwards did however. If I could get away with it I'd want something like pictured above (not going to happen for me).
Half a diffuser that functions as one of the side walls for the corner array. It could also be a bass trap, whatever you need (lol).

I suppose that is a left corner as seen from above? 🙂 or ell, maybe a right - I was confused now.... 😉

That's a proposition for placement on the left side, behind the listener, positioned at about 1 to 1.5 meter to the left against the back wall, array fires at 45 degree to left side wall. Mirror this for the other side. Diffraction towards listening position, array firing towards side wall. Scrap my previous suggestion of horizontal array up against back wall and ceiling corner. That would almost be direct firing towards the listener. For ambience something indirect would have my preference.
Haha - sorry, for me to be really sure, you better add the actual corner to drawing - please excuse my dumbness!

Will this help? Basically I created new corners using a quarter round diffractive panels to be able to place the corner array in "a corner". The diffractive panel can be a variety of things. A half round (in our case a quarter round) much like what is seen here on the wall of a Stereophile article between two absorbing panels:

or it can be consisting of more irregular shaped pieces to feature even more diffraction.

But my proposal is to have it create a corner to have something you can place the array against.
Just some brain farts on my behalf, you know I'm crazy, right? 😉
I had in mind a BMR driver pointing into the upper, back, left and right corner - say 30 cm distance. These are very wide, almost producing a diffuse field which I think is what one wants.
