Bernie's Mar-Ken12T with stands.
A bit of a neat story on the latter. Seems i had provided the fir pieces for their construction. The fir was off-cuts from some milling i had helped a friend with (cool mill). The trees had been cut in 190-something, but were too big to haul out with horses so they were left on the ground. 100 years later they are haresting again and these logs were dropped at an eco-forest millplace, where we cut (mostly) 8x8 cants. So these are off-cuts from 200+ year old trees. Incredibly tight grain, and as can be seen, beautiful under Bernie's attention.

Was that the grand prize?
It would be nice to know all the prizes. I won some sweet binding posts with a propeller locking type system.

Terry Olsen has become a regular at the event and adds some wonderful character. He brought DaveR (the 200% Norwegian) for the 2nd year. They came Thursday and were invaluable in event preparation.

Wow what a great time:
I always love getting together with my audio nut-bar friends.
I have to echo the voices of others, I am glad that Ruth and Dave have the patience to let us hang out at the mountain with them and enjoy some very good company and great audio equipment. You put on a heart felt warm event.
I really did like the MTM, I like my music with a little bottom end. But my over all two thumbs up must go to the Musical tool box that my brother made. Anything that plays Jimmy Buffett all night long has my vote. There is nothing better than drunken beach music to help the "brothers from different mothers" have fun. Telling jokes and a few lies with my brother Cal is the best part of my summer vacation.
"I love you man"
I am already looking forward to next year. If all goes well, I might even get some of the prizes I keep winning built.

Once again, the time spent at Dave and Ruth's can only fall in the "enjoyable" category. Good company, good weather, good tunes, good toys, and good food.
"Good"ness!
Thanks so much for the hospitality, and for making the event available and fun for all of us audio nut-bars.
Too tired to download pic's tonight. Hopefully tomorrow.![Eek! ](data:image/gif;base64,R0lGODlhAQABAIAAAAAAAP///yH5BAEAAAAALAAAAAABAAEAAAIBRAA7)

I'm gonna guess that the speakers in the last 2 pics had a hand on Cal & Kyle (at least) leaving with EL70s in hand.

Front room.
Kyle's CHR-Ken, Bob's EL166/ERT26 in Parts Express 21 litre box, Bob's MA CHBW + ERT26. During the event, DaveR designed, scavenged & built a series XO for the latter which provided decided benefits.
