They are Triangle Borea 03’s. Nothing fancy, but They sound good. 89-90db efficient and 8 ohms - best mate I have for the vfet amp.

This may sound like an attack on your speakers, please believe me it is not. I really doubt they are that efficient, most likely honest 86-87db if they play anywhere close to claimed ~50 f3. And this is not bad at all. With minimum Z of around 4ohm this is wonderful. It should very reassuring that you like the sound especially for people who intimidated by Pa’s and of course ZM’s love fir huuge drivers :). Cheers enjoy the music! Hope I will be joining you all soon :)

So, I got everything cleaned up, caps back in (reversed), amp successfully powered on, and voltages are holding well. Heatsinks have settled in at around 48C. I've not had a chance to give it a good listen yet, but what I can say so far is... SPOOKY. I'm impressed to say the least :)

I've attached a few measurements. Distortion seems inline with Nelson's data from the documentation. This amp is quiet! Also notice the nicely matched parts :)

Thanks again for the support and help along the way!

Here are some pix of my board assembly. I measure and mark the resistors, then install and check them off. Then the caps, etc. I had a few extra resistors. Is that like the IKEA kit with a few extra fasteners? I hope to do some wiring after dinner.

Great tip to label the bags before dumping them out! Now I know what screws and washers go where.

Codyt, thanks so much for the heads up, for alerting the community and for the good attitude about it! It must have been a bummer and an upsetting moment. Cleaning it, erasing the VFETs markings, having to replace your nice caps. You are a true champ! You may also have just saved the others that get those PCBs.

Perhaps if you had had a mismatched pair, it would have raised a flag to double check, but you actually got BOTH PCBs wrong, so I would have failed miserably myself at that check for sure! :(

Best,
Rafa.
