I think I’m confused now as well, I have the Vfets to build version one and version two and have been eagerly waiting for an email to buy one or both versions from the store as I passed on the lottery. If this is no longer an option can the gerbers be made public along with BOM, and hopefully we can still order the original chassis? I don’t mind sourcing the other parts.
Nelson said the new boards can be used with the bigger Sony VFETs with a couple of part value adjustments.

I have a Match quad (2xSK60/2xSJ18) of -53 rank, these were bought for a Sony TA-4650 refresh and spares, however I have since discovered that the 4650/5650 need 54->57 ranking sets.
Does anyone out there have a matched Quad of 54 ranking (ideal) or higher that they would be willing to swap? All VFETS measure good with the DMM.
As is, they are ideal for the VFET builds, for for a TAN-8550, but alas not for my 4650/5650 projects.

Hi Jon,
I can probably help you out here, I've got 7 of the 54s pulled from my 5650 we were talking about last year. After returning those VFETs from China which were dubious, I'm resigned to leaving the rebuild now rather than try and source more.
I've been thinking I'd build one or two of the VFET amps which is a wonderful option to have. I'd be glad for mine to go back into a Sony home and swap for 53s
I'm out in Dubai for the foreseeable, but if you need them sooner I can ask my family to post them as they're in the UK. I've got curve traces for them as well if that's of interest. Let me know / drop me a message.
