I’ve really come to like and prefer this mountingthough, lately I'm making pcbs routing strictly in a way that mosfet (whatever) is sandwiched between hsink and pcb, so pins are always going upwards (same as you did show in last pic)
Sitting on my hands, trying to take a breakbtw. Cody - doing something lately ......... ?

Thanks for the advice, I will try it and rewire it if it doesn't work properly.extra dirty wiring of additional caps
route power wires to amp pcbs ditto from Cap Bank pcb, connect additional caps with wires ditto in parallel with last cap of rail on Cap bank pcb; solder wires underneath
as is now, fat chance to get dirty GND to amp pcb
Good progress Plott.
Scryer is getting action this weekend!
Successful, drama free power up of left channel.
Bench supply +/-28VDC
1.7A bias current
5U 360mm heatsink is 45°C ~1hour
Q202/203 was a bit too hot for my piece of mind and changed to a larger heatsink, 10° cooler now
.
Movin’ on the the right channel…..

Another Scryer is Born!!
Vibrant and healthy 55pounder is singing away in the main system. Only a short time listening, but Scryer sounds real good so far. Super quiet at idle, no noise or hums heard right at the speakers
.
A tiered dual mono psu using SLB's, Triad 250va 24v trafo's and SSR soft start board is all housed in a recycled multichannel amplifier chassis. The heatsinks are a fantastic size for this project 360mm x 210mm x 50mm. I will add speaker protection to Scryer but was a bit impatient and wanted to hear this amp sooner than later.
Thank you for this project ZM, it's a keeper!! What's next??![spin :spin: :spin:](https://files.diyaudio.com/forums/images/smilies/spin.gif)

How it sounds, makes you happy?
Very happy indeed! 🕺🏻
Must be the red caps, Hehehe.
Derekr,
You got it! Lots of brainstorming and planning time for the PSU section. Most of the building time was this portion of the project. ZM’s Scryer boards were very easy to work with and whipped up quickly.
