The food thread

Me and my biz partner had to visit a client in south central Sweden, so we drove from Copenhagen. Being hungry and tired we looked for a place to eat -- saw one with a lot of cars in the parking lot, hotel + restaurant combination. We assumed it was a Rotary or civic club luncheon that afternoon. I guess they don't get many Americans so the owner took us to a table, showed us the smorgasbord and plied us with all sorts of fish, potatoes, meats and summer fruit. They took Amex!

The French would say, to find a good inexpensive restaurant, look for a place in which two priests are eating.

it's changed a bit since then. Almost no AERE signage left since they renamed the place. I remember standing on top of the DIDO reactor in the 80s and asking why they didn't use all the heat for a swimming pool :). Lots of good science there still though and some great young scientists (not that I am biased)
