I have always liked Tripaths but few are well designed and well implemented. This Satisfaction is a must have !
I updated the 4X OP amps inside : 2 X OPA1622 for preamp and 2X 1692 for Power amp and it is even better.

Did you read the text I wrote? I mentioned also the power. I doubt I would be able to distinguish them if they are used with the same speakers which are easy loads for both amps. I also have my own Purifi build (it is described also here on diyaudio)

I am aware of this. I am also aware that amplifier often start to show fatigue way before they reach the rated power, so some headroom is always good.
I am not saying that the PA5 is power starved though. I am just stating the fact that the amps it is compared to can give significantly more power. And getting good measurements at increasingly higher output is difficult.
It seems that John Yang of Topping has designed a very nice composite amplifier around a class D chip amp – it seems a first, and goes head to head with Neurochrome's composite amplifier series around the class AB LM3886 chip amp. Very nice competition!

There's no class-d chip yet that surpasses the TPA325X chip in terms of THD+N performance. (that do not use post filter feedback) So right now this is the pinnacle of pre-filter feedback class-d chip.
