Maybe that depends on which hemisphere you live inGotta wind 'em CCW south of the equator...
No, that's the water in your toilet bowl.

Northern hemisphere copper is influenced by the Coriolis effect , aye ?

No , that's what's floating IN the toilet bowl.

It's all about the flow, some kinda quantum electron Coriolis effect, hehehe. Good adspeak though '...with output coils wound specifically for the region...'
For what its worth, I just use an AA or AAA battery as a coil form and use 14ga magnet wire (that was a mistake, I meant to get 16ga and the rolls were mixed up at the local junk monger's store). With 14ga I think I get 13 turns. For the ideal number of turns 16ga is good, though 14ga does fit the holes.

I have a 10mm shaft that I chuck in my cordless drill. I poke one end of the coil wire in between the collet tines and just run the drill slowly while guiding the wire. I usually make a coil about 6-8" long and them cut what I need from that. I leave the remainder in a drawer for future use.
That sounds like an easy way to do it!I have a 10mm shaft that I chuck in my cordless drill. Yes, I found I had to run the drill in reverse for Valery's board. I just figured it was a Russian thing.I use a "special" felt pen of the right diameter for that purpose
Sometimes I wind in a wrong direction, so that the coil doesn't fit my PCB, then I wind the other one in an opposite direction. Trial and error method![]()

Wrong side of the hemisphere?
That sure makes the job painless!
Yeah , my fingers hurt ! But made my 6 (below).
Finally , I can apply the POWER

I think I'm seeing a pattern here. You're from moonshine country. Valery's from Vodka country...
