Introducing BOXPLAN-BP8P. This BOXPLAN assists in the design of an 8th order BP alignment for a given driver. Note that the workbook is definitely still in "beta", so if you come across any bugs, please let me know ASAP.

...and for version 0.2, I've added the option to have one or two drivers, and the layout and calculation for Lp2 is done a bit differently (the layout assumed for the previous version of the workbook results in a value for Lp2 that's too long to be useful).

Brian,
when i import a driver from HR on the cubo spreasdheet
i get the below error

Ok, I think I misread your message - it's an issue with trying to import Driver data? Is it happening with one Driver, or all Driver data that you try to import from HR?

Interesting. I'm not sure what could be causing that. The other macros in the workbook function without issue?

Actually not, if I change the size of the box to accommodate a 15 driver ,when I click optimize until the red numbers go away, the layout change too small making the driver outside the cabinet

when i download it, it is still telling me needs updated for 64bit.

Check to see if the downloaded version is 3.4 (the version is mentioned on the "Drivers" sheet in the workbook).

I suggest trying to download it again. Version 3.4 is one that's now available from my site -

when i click on it and i am just on the web view it does say 3.4 but when i download the file it downloads 3.3

When it says caution s2 is lower than sd, what problem or effect i guess is that having?

Too high of a ratio of Sd/S2 may cause the cone to buckle, fold or rip under high power.
The compression ratio of a horn is the cone area divided by the throat area.
Compression ratios above ~3.5/1 are generally considered high for bass horns.

Gotcha thanks. At what point will hornresp quit warning you. Looks like it will warn me no matter what after I take away the throat chamber.

Brian this would be on any of the tapped horn boxplans when I important it into hornresp I have change the throat chamber size down to zero to get accurate results. Where does it pull those sizes from and should they be at zero?

Also another question specifically pertaining to the othorn boxplans so even tho it only shows that you can change s1 you can change s2,s3 etc. however when u go this it will not change in the picture of the box layout. Is there anyway to make s2 and s3 able to insert sizes and show in the picture?
